Where will Santa go?! What time does he start!?
When SantaCon Ocean City began on the boardwalk in 2011, we had an official start time and moved as a group from bar to bar. As SantaCon grew, the event became a “choose your own adventure,” with Santas and merry elves arriving as soon as the bars opened and staying until close. Now, we encourage you to pop in when and where you want during the times listed below. You’ll find Santa at all of these bars & restaurants. It’s all part of the SantaCon magic!
The reindeer will deliver Santa to these fine establishments on Friday night, December 12 for the SantaCon Ocean City Kickoff:
- 5:00 – 7:00 pm: Pre-SantaCon Happy Hour at Mother’s Cantina, 2810 Philadelphia Avenue.
- 8:00 pm – until: Ugly Sweater SantaCon Kickoff Party with Deogee at Pickles Pub, 706 Philadelphia Avenue. $5 Orange Crushes, $5 Green Tea, $5 Pickle Backs. Prize for Best Ugly Sweater!
The reindeer will deliver Santa to these locations on Saturday, December 13:
Saturday morning, December 13: Breakfast with Santa
- Breakfast with Santa at Crawl Street Tavern on Wicomico Street in Downtown Ocean City. Crawl Street will be open at 8:30 am for breakfast. They have a Giving Tree for Kenille’s Kupboard Pet Pantry & Rescue. They will be selling ornaments to make a donation. Santa can park his sleigh and enjoy his day. Crawl Street will have live music, great food, awesome drinks, and friendly bartenders.
After breakfast on Saturday, December 14, 2024, find Santa on Wicomico Street:
- Crawl Street Tavern will be open at 8:30 am. DJ Magellan from 1:00 – 6:00 pm followed by The Mercury Agenda at 8:00 pm.
- Cork Bar & Grille will open at 10:00 am.
- The Bearded Clam will open at 10:00 am.
- Wild Bill’s will open at noon. Live music with Risky Business and Johnny Cardo at 2:00 pm.
The Wicomico Street bars will be helping the puppies and kittens over at Kenille’s Kupboard Pet Pantry & Rescue.
You can also drop off dry dog/puppy food, dry cat food, treats (no rawhide please) at the Cork Bar.

Santa can be found at these merry boardwalk and bayside bars, too:
- Purple Moose Saloon, on the boardwalk between Talbot and Caroline Streets. Will be open 10 am – close. DJ Madame Dutchess starts at 2:00 pm and during the band breaks. Live music from Under The Covers 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Drink specials will be announced soon. Purple Moose is donating to the Worcester County Humane Society.
- Cabanas Beach Bar & Grille, 2nd Street and the Boards (just a short walk up from the Purple Moose). Opens at 11:00 am.
- The Angler, 312 Talbot Street. Opens at 11:00 am.
Saturday evening, Dec. 13: You’ll find Santa at the 28th Street Barmuda Triangle
- On your merry way to 28th Street: Stop in at Pickles Pub for a pickle shot! 706 Philadelphia Avenue, then:
- 28th Street Pit & Pub, 2706 Philadelphia Avenue.
- Mother’s Cantina, 2810 Philadelphia Avenue.
- Coins Pub & Restaurant, 2820 Philadelphia Avenue. DJ Giddy Up from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
- Buxy’s Salty Dog Saloon & Dry Dock 28, 2707 Philadelphia Avenue.
